Originally from a small town northern Utah, Bryce became interested in outdoors at an early age. This captivation with nature continued into his schooling leading to graduate work in aquatic ecology. He is an expert in the understanding of wildlife and biology, a quality that is evident in his sculptures. As an artist he strives to communicate the wonder and energy that he feels about the natural world. He spends many hours observing and experiencing nature first hand in an effort to understand his subject and further improve upon his art.
