I have been fly fishing for eighteen years and guiding in the Greater Yellowstone Area for the past twelve years. I have continuously photographed my fishing exploits, and have recently begun to focus on new perspectives of trout. My portraits of trout capture the fish in hand and during the moments of release. I strive to acquire unique perspectives of the fish in the surface film, and just below the surface. Many of my shots are taken with the macro setting using a waterproof digital camera. I usually take a few blind shots of the fish prior to a timely release.
