Mimi Matsuda is an Oregon pastel artist and Park Ranger Naturalist for Yellowstone National Park. Since graduating in 1997 form Portland State University, with a B.S. in biology, she has been living her dream as a Park Ranger and wildlife artist. Mimi draws what she knows and loves, and is best known for her trout and salmon art. She is an avid fly-fisher. In high school she volunteered with the Birds of Prey program at the Oregon Zoo and learned about the raptors, firsthand. Now she works as a ranger, fishes, and bird watches half of the year in Yellowstone and concentrates on creating art in the winter in Oregon.
