Stidham resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. This area surrounds him with miles of trout streams where the artist can be seen with his fly rods and canvases, searching for good fishing and the perfect painting. Stidham does oil and watercolor sketches out doors to document the fish anatomy and to provide inspiration for larger works. Throughout his art career, Stidham has designed stamps, illustrated books, and raised thousands of dollars for conservation organizations.
