Born and raised in
the western states of our country, Rawhouser has always been fascinated
with nature and enjoyed capturing it in the visual form. Art school seemed
the obvious choice for a college education so she obtained her B.A. in
art education from the University of Northern Colorado. Rawhouser then
taught high school art for 15 years. She now paints full time and has
been named the “Wyoming Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year.”
Ruth lives in Big Piney, Wyoming.
