Cooney’s watercolor landscapes evoke a soft, peaceful quality through their monochromatic colors and planes of space. Her paintings give one a sense of meditative solitude in nature. Cooney learned her craft at Weber State University and lives Ogden, Utah. She has participated in many juried shows throughout the West.
