Carol Lee Thompson

Carol Lee Thompson is a Classical Realist trained in the meathods of the Old Masters. She graduated from the Towson State University, the Maryland Institute College of Art with the M.F.A. and the Schuler Schuler School of Fine Art. Following the meathods of the Old Masters by grinding her pigments with black oil and making Flemish medium. She uses only fine Belgian linen and panels she prepares with glue and lead. She continues to teach these techniques through workshops and classes.

In addition to being featured in galleries throught the country from the West to the East, Carol has won many awards through the Cheyenne Frontier Days Museum Show, Artist Magazine, Fredrix Sprit of America Contest and with the Salmagundi Club.
